Everybody Can Use a Rest Week
As we approach the projected start of the 2020 Tour Divide, one thing is becoming more and more clear….this, in all probability, ain’t happening this year.
These are just the facts of life. No matter how much we plan and set a course, there are other players in the grand scheme of things, and we’re just going to have to adapt and move on.
Spilled milk…
That said, after multiple weeks of 15-19 hours a week of training, this week saw a more tranquil pace, and fewer hours on the bike. That doesn’t mean that we didn’t ride, just that we eased off to let our bodies rest and recover.
This also gave us an opportunity to try some new/old routes and get in a bit more cross-training activities.
